NIOC Maintains Supplies To India As Payment Impasse Continues

Uttam Kumar Basu, Managing Director of India’s largest state-owned refinery company, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), told the Press Trust of India on 3 June that he had received assurances from the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) that the flow of Iranian crude will not be interrupted as the two governments continue their efforts to find a payment mechanism that will not violate US sanctions.
