Negotiations Over KMG Entry Into KPO Reach Stalemate

Negotiations between the Kazakh Ministry of Petroleum and the Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO) consortium regarding the participation of state firm KazMunaiGaz (KMG) in the project have reached stalemate almost two years after they were initiated at Astana’s request.
