ESAI Says Implications Of Bin Ladin’s Death Unclear

The implications of the death of al-Qa'ida leader Usama bin Ladin for the oil market are unclear, the Massachusetts-based Energy Security Analysis, Inc (ESAI) said in an intelligence briefing on 2 May. Bin Ladin, the mastermind behind the 11 September 2001 attacks in the US, was on 1 May killed at a compound where he was living in Abbottabad, Pakistan, during a covert operation carried out by US special operations forces.
