State-owned companies Oman Oil Company (OOC) and Abu Dhabi’s International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) signed a cooperation agreement on 20 April for the building of refineries and petrochemical plants, Oman’s state news agency reported. The projects will be in Oman, MEES learns, which fits in with IPIC’s geographical diversification strategy and focus on an integrated petrochemical chain.
