Levant Basin Gas Potential Shows Upside For Israel, Companies Involved, Says UBS

The current geopolitical climate in the Middle East and North Africa reinforces the case for Israeli gas, UBS Investment Research has stated in a report issued on 5 April. Recent natural gas discoveries offshore Israel at the Tamar and Leviathan fields gives the country gas reserves estimated at 25 tcf (705 bcm), enough to meet domestic demand for several decades, and enough to transform Israel into an energy exporter.
