Qatar Central Bank Governor Shaikh ‘Abd Allah bin Saud Al Thani said on 4 February that he expected the 2010 financial year to be better than 2009 for Qatar. Earlier he had predicted Qatar’s GDP would increase by 16% in real terms in fiscal year 2010-11, compared with a 9% rise in 2009-10.
