Benchmark oil prices fell by around 5% on 4 February, as investors sold commodities and backed a strengthening dollar. Settlement prices were: WTI $73.14/B; Brent $72.13/B; DME Oman $75.11/B; and ICE Dubai $72.06/B. The OPEC Basket crude price was $72.73/B.
